Syed Ali Shazif Baqari, Paediatric Haematologist and Oncology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Asim Belgaumi, a renowned paediatric oncologist from Pakistan, has dedicated himself to enhancing childhood cancer care for underprivileged individuals.
Despite not achieving equity in paediatric oncology, his unwavering commitment has resulted in personal growth and success, aligning him with global medical luminaries.
Asim stands as a beacon of hope for Pakistan, deserving recognition on par with legends like Jahangir Khan and Javed Miandad. Let’s honor his significant contributions and work towards advancing childhood cancer care.”
