Anniina Hentinen Presented How Lung Cancer Patients Feel About The Use of AI in Care at I3LUNG Annual Meeting – Lung Cancer Europe
Lung Cancer Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last week in Corfu, our EU Project Manager Anniina Hentinen joined the I3LUNG Annual Meeting to present Lung Cancer Europe’s survey findings on how people affected by lung cancer feel about the use of AI in care.
The meeting brought together researchers and partners exploring how data and AI could help personalise lung cancer treatment.
Over 200 people took part in our survey – most living with lung cancer, some carers.
80% said they’d share their data if it meant better, more tailored care.
But many still feel unsure. They want to understand how these tools work. They don’t want to lose the connection with their doctors. And they need to know they can trust what’s behind the decisions.
We’re here to make sure their voices are heard and taken seriously.
Thanks to everyone at i3LUNG for the thoughtful conversations and collaboration last week.”
