Aladina supports children with cancer whose countries are in a serious emergency situation
Aladina Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Having cancer and being a child are concepts that should not go together, but when the disease is mixed with war and poverty, the situation becomes untenable.
At Aladina we are committed to international entities that help children with cancer whose countries are in a serious emergency situation.
Lebanon: With a total donation of $600,000 to Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL), we are helping children with cancer across the Middle East continue their treatment without any hassle.
Jordan: Our contribution of €154,000 to King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center allows refugee children from Syria, Iraq and Palestine to receive the treatment they need.
Armenia: During the COVID-19 crisis, we contributed $160,000 to City of Smile Charitable Foundation, which supports all children with cancer in the country, so that their work can continue in times of difficulty.
Venezuela: Through Colombian hospitals and Fundación Sanar, we donated $50,000 so that Venezuelan refugee families in Colombia have essential medicines for their children with cancer.
Ukraine: Since the beginning of the war, we have been welcoming and caring for Ukrainian families in Spain, providing them with all the necessary support.
Help us to always be where we are needed most. With your support, Aladina can continue to be a beacon of hope for children with cancer around the world.
Join us.”
