“Congratulations to Tanvi Visal for successfully completing her PhD
Congratulations to Tanvi Visal, my Ph.D. student, who has defended her thesis and earned the title of Dr. Tanvi Visal! Tanvi started her Ph.D. journey in my lab at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and when I transitioned to Brown University, she joined the lab of my good friend and non-coding RNA guru, Dr. George Calin. A big thanks to George for helping Tanvi complete her PhD.
I thank Dr. Jeff Rosen, Dr. Pamela L. Wenzel, and Dr. Don Gibbons for their invaluable suggestions as part of her thesis committee.
