Michelle Mitchell: The annual long service awards are always one of my favourite days of the year

Michelle Mitchell shared a post on LinkedIn:

”The annual long service awards are always one of my favourite days of the year, when we come together to celebrate the wonderful achievements of my Cancer Research UK (CRUK) colleagues who have achieved 10 and 25 years at the charity.

I’ve personally got a way to go having just passed five years in November, and I’m so grateful for their dedication to the charity and all the progress we’ve been able to make together thanks to their commitment. It was a true honour to have been asked to award the five very special people who have reached 25 years of service at Cancer Research UK.

So much has changed over the past few decades thanks to the continuous efforts of our colleagues and millions more people in the UK and worldwide now survive cancer – enjoying precious extra months and years with loved ones. This is what motivates us all every day.”
