Manmeet Ahluwalia: Honored to Receive the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for Contributions to American Society
Manmeet Ahluwalia, Chief Scientific Officer, Chief of Medical Oncology, and Deputy Director of Miami Cancer Institute, Baptist Health South Florida, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I am greatly honored to receive the Ellis Island Medal of Honor which is one of our nation’s most prestigious recognitions. To be counted among those who have made meaningful contributions to the American society is a privilege beyond measure.
Since 1986, the Ellis Island Honors Society have celebrated individuals whose achievements embody the spirit of America’s rich and diverse heritage. Past recipients include eight U.S. Presidents such as Ronald Reagan. Each year, honorees are formally recognized in the Congressional Record, an enduring testament to their service and the impact.
I share this recognition with my mentors, colleagues, and patients who have inspired my journey and also my family and friends who have supported my mission and work.”
Robin Zon, President of ASCO 2024-2025, shared this post, adding:
“This is awesome Manmeet ! Congratulations!!!
