Patrick Ma: Looking Forward to ASCO 2025
Patrick Ma, Interim Division Chief of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Penn State College of Medicine and Associate Director of Translational Research at Penn State Cancer Institute, shared a post on X:
“Looking forward to ASCO 2025. Every year it is more exciting than the last. Cancer mortality keeps declining. More patients are living longer and staying on treatments longer. But we’re not getting more cancer physicians-surgeons-rad oncologists, or APPs to keep up with the need.
All need to get our Societies to work on innovative solutions to crack the crisis at hand to meet the cancer care professionals’ critical need, hitting all of us from all directions now.
Remarkably improved cancer survival rates! Then and Now. Setting the mood for ASCO 2025.”
