Gerry Hanna: First study to show that hippocampus avoidance during WBRT may reduce depression rates

“Next up at ESTRO25 : Late Breaking Abstracts

German study of hippocampal avoidance and SIB in patients with 4-10 brain mets showed a trend towards cognitive sparing. First study to show that hippocampus avoidance during WBRT may reduce depression rates.”
