“𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful New Year (2025) filled with happiness, health, and prosperity.
It has been two years since I relocated to Brown University. During this period, I have encountered various challenges, got great opportunities, and made lasting memories.
I want to take a moment to thank some incredible people I’ve met along the way. In Providence, I’ve had the privilege to connect with some outstanding individuals like Dr. Wafik S. El-Deiry, Dr. Howard Safran, Dr. Mukesh Jain, Dr. Robert W. Sobol Jr., Dr. Don S. Dizon, Dr. Stephanie Graff, Dr.Jerry Azzoli, Dr. Benedito A. Carneiro, Dr. Sheldon Holder, Dr. Paul Bertone, Dr. Paul DiSilvestro, Rishi R. Lulla, Dr. Sean Lawler, Dr. Eric Wong, Dr. Clark Chen, Dr. Murray Resnick, Dr. Alex Raufi, Dr. David Wazer, Dr. Cara Mathews, Dr. Michelle R Dawson, Dr. John Rehan, Dr. Patrycja Dubielecka, Dr. Abbas Abbas, Dr. Attila Seyhan, Dr. Shiyoko Cothren, Dr. Henri Blouin and so many others. Their support and insights have made this experience truly exceptional.
I’m also fortunate to have recruited an incredible team into my lab, including Dr. Petra den Hollander, Dr. Nick Kuburich, Dr. Divya Murthy, Dr. Thiru Sabapathy, Breanna Demestichas, Joanna Joyce M., Andrew Karam, Diana Ferreyra Faustino, Ege Gungor Onal, Justin Kim, Claire Gould, Matthew Manwaring, Julia Kiselka, Yumiko Imai, Melanie Ho, Lily Langbein, and a talented group of undergraduates from Brown University. Their energy and talent are what keep our research thriving and exciting.
In Rhode Island, I am also fortunate to meet two incredible people, Mr. John Tarantino and Ms. Barbara Papitto, who are not only becoming my friends but also mentors to learn the way one should lead our life.
I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting some incredible people who have become lifelong friends: Mr. Gregory Mercurio Jr, Mr. Ed Pieroni, Ms. Angella Franklin, Ms. Nicole J. Benjamin, Ting Bernard, Claude Arnell Milhouse, and many others.
Being part of Leadership Rhode Island and meeting some amazing people, including Richard Staples Jr, Michelle Carr, Teresa DeFlitch, and many others, from Team 6 has been an enriching experience. I am grateful for the wonderful connections made through this program.
I appreciate everyone for joining me on this journey and wish you all a wonderful year ahead.”
