“This week marked the end of both the World Health Summit as well as the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit. The World Health Summit covered WHA76, Universal Healthcare as well as cancer, while WCLS2023 focused on cancer control in a changing world. The Summit is held in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
These events came after Transformation in the Global Cancer Agenda: Is there evidence of early success? discussed during the World Oncology Forum, organised by European School of Oncology (ESO) in collaboration with The Lancet Oncology, which focused on the global fight against cancer.
