Addressing challenges for MBC patients awaiting benefits – Infinite Strength
Infinite Strength Inc. shared the following post on LinkedIn:
“With an average life expectancy of 36 months after an MBC diagnosis, this law is extremely problematic. We speak with women who are unable to work due to their disease progression, but find themselves in the waiting room for these benefits. This creates a situation of dire need—some women choose to stop treatment so they can feel well enough to go back to work, or in some advanced cases, they end up with an eviction notice. This vicious cycle MUST end—MBC patients deserve better.”
