Angela Mastronuzzi will begin her term as president of AIEOP on December 1st
Angela Mastronuzzi shared the following on LinkedIn:
“The XLIX AIEOP National Congress has just concluded and my heart is full with gratitude. A heartfelt thank you to all the speakers, participants, moderators, and parent/patient advocacy associations who made this event an extraordinary success. We had an amazing turnout of over 300 doctors, over 100 nurses, and almost 100 members of Fiagop ETS. It was a privilege to share moments of profound inspiration and growth with you all.
I am honored to announce that on December 1st I will begin my term as President of AIEOP. Together with the new Board of Directors, I will lead the association for the next three years, with the aim of continuing to innovate and create new opportunities for young people, continuing our quest in cancer research and for the care of children and adolescents with cancer.
A special thank you to the outgoing President, Arcangelo Prete, and Board of Directors, of which I had the honor of being a part. Your dedication has laid solid foundations on which to build on. To the new Board of Directors: we are ready to write the next chapter of this incredible story.
And I cannot wait to celebrate with all of you AIEOP’s 50th anniversary next year in Rome, September 22-24, 2025!
