World Child Cancer: Influence policy and public opinion on childhood cancer
World Child Cancer shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In 2025 and beyond, World Child Cancer will continue collaborating with national governments and global organisations like the WHO to influence policies that prioritize childhood cancer care, working towards the goal to increase the global survival rate of children with cancer to at least 60% by 2030.
In Malawi, we are committed to collaborating with key stakeholders to elevate the focus on childhood cancer within the government. The goal is to advocate for Malawi’s selection as a focus country under the WHO Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer (GICC).
In Sierra Leone, we’re expanding partnerships with the Ministry of Health to strengthen advocacy and build capacity for childhood cancer treatment.
There are only three days left to double your impact! Match-funding of up to £5,000 ends at the close of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, this Monday. Donate today to support our policy work and help us advocate for every child.
