Quoting Penn Medicine Radiation Oncology’s post:
“If you’re a Radiation Oncologist who is interested in becoming board certified in Hospice/Palliative Medicine, then we encourage you to apply to our new 1-year ACGME-accredited fellowship track.
Through this specialized offering, you will expand your skill set in complex symptom management and serious illness communication to care for patients with advanced disease.
Fellows will rotate with a metastatic disease radiotherapy service, treating a high volume of complex, re-irradiation and spine SRS cases in a multi-disciplinary spine program.
This is in addition to completing all required HPM rotations.
New graduates will be able to sit for oral Radiation Oncology boards and HPM boards in 2025, resulting in dual-board certification.
Applications are now open. Learn more and apply today.”
