The intratumoral microbiome in lung cancer

Sumanta K. Pal shared a post on X:

“HUGE congrats to Arielle Elkrief, Smruthy Sivakumar, Marc Ladanyi, Charles Rudin, Chad Vanderbilt, and the exceptional teams at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Foundation Medicine and Flatiron Health that put together this massive effort in Journal of Clinical Oncology, characterizing the intratumoral microbiome in lung cancer. While indeed a controversial field I am impressed at the levels of clinical & pathologic validation demonstrated here at Andrea Necchi and Jonathan Friedberg.”
