“We’re grateful to medical partners like Dr. Guru Sharan Sah who show tremendous care for patients in our programs.
“Every patient is different, and their treatment should reflect that,” explains Dr. Guru. “I work closely with my patients, listening to their concerns and collaborating with them to determine the best course of action.
This may involve a combination of surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapies, or immunotherapy, depending on the stage and characteristics of the cancer.””
Quoting Shalini Anush‘s post:
“World Lung Cancer Day is commemorated annually on August 1st to raise awareness about this diagnosis. The involvement of physicians is crucial in this endeavor.
This year’s theme, “Stronger Together: United for Lung Cancer Awareness,” highlights the collaborative efforts of our physician partners at The Max Foundation. They play a significant role in our collective mission to promote awareness. The Max Foundation, through its Max Access Solutions program in Nepal offers support to lung cancer patients.”
