The Max Foundation – Transforming despair into hope
The Max Foundation shared on LinkedIn:
“Born in the small Soluluk region of Kyrgyzstan, Marina was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in 2017. Her cancer journey is a testament to the profound impact her physicians—Professor Abdyldaev, Dr. Sloeva, Dr. Kadirovna, and Dr. Gavrilenko—had on transforming despair into hope.
Marina says, ‘Every visit to the Centre is not just a medical appointment; it’s a celebration of life and progress. Meeting with my physicians feels like receiving a precious gift. Since 2018, I have embraced each day as if it were a holiday, finding joy in the simplest moments and cherishing the support surrounding me.’
Marina has received more than medicines from the National Oncology Center and The Max Foundation. The human connection, medicine infused with empathy, became the most precious gift in not only surviving but THRIVING in the face of cancer.
We’re grateful for donors and partners who’ve supported us in accelerating health equity, one patient at a time.”
