“Just after her 33rd birthday, Lindsay was diagnosed with Stage 1A clear cell carcinoma of the right ovary.

In November 2021 Lindsay started experiencing the need to go to the toilet a bit more. She started to feel like there was a tennis ball sized object on the left-hand side of her pelvic area and began to get more concerned. After a face to face appointment with GP in February, Lindsay was referred for an internal and external ultrasound.

‘The fact that the tumour was so big meant it put a lot of pressure on my bladder and I had to go to the toilet more – that saved me. If it wasn’t for that, I would have probably ignored the other symptoms of bloating and stomach pain.’ – Lindsay.”
