Amanda Impellizzeri: MCED Act Just Hit a Historic Milestone
Amanda Impellizzeri, Executive Director of 3 Oncology State Societies and Leadership Relations Manager at Association of Cancer Care Centers, shared on LinkedIn:
“Exciting News from Louisiana! The Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) Act (H.R. 842) just hit a historic milestone — it’s now the first health bill this Congress to gain support from over half the House, with 218+ bipartisan cosponsors and counting! The Louisiana Oncology Society (LOS) is proud to support this critical legislation to advance early cancer detection for seniors across the country — and especially here in Louisiana.
Speaker Mike Johnson and Leader Steve Scalise – the time to act is now. Let’s give America’s seniors access to life-saving screenings. Let’s pass the MCED Act. Together, we can make a difference.”
