“When you grant a for-profit company monopoly rights to a life-saving drug, you must set a ceiling on the price to protect the public— common sense. All developed countries do this. We don’t. No wonder our drug prices are always much higher.
Combine this with laws that allow arbitrary price increases, patent prolongation tactics, and multiple barriers to generic entry, you get this as we see in myeloma.
