Zuzana Santamaria, Project Manager at European Society of Gynaecological Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn by Eva Štréglová, adding:
“When an awareness campaign goes viral
It all started with a simple idea — to raise awareness about gynecologic cancer prevention. With just a few enthusiastic ESGO ENGAGe members joining the first event on September 20, the foundation for the World Gynecologic Oncology Day campaign was laid.
Year after year, as we built stronger connections with patient organizations, patients and advocates, doctors, hospitals, and other partners, we worked tirelessly to make our voice heard.
On September 20, 2025, we made it our biggest campaign yet!
291 activities registered
167 organizations involved
64 countries united in one cause
Thanks to all who made it happen!”
