Zeda Zhang, Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation Fellow at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What a year it’s been with SITC!
I’m deeply grateful to the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer for a series of recognitions that have meant so much to me as an early career scientist:
- Spring Scientific Abstract Award — for a top-scored abstract at SITC Spring Scientific
- Young Investigator Award — presented at the SITC Annual Meeting
- Sparkathon Grand Prize, Distinguished Investigator Award — as part of the Sparkathon Class of 2026
Each of these reflects not just my own work, but the mentorship, collaboration, and community that make this field so special.
Thank you to SITC, to the donors and reviewers who make these opportunities possible, and to everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m excited to keep contributing to the future of cancer immunotherapy!”
