“Childhood cancer is not a death sentence. It is curable.
In Nigeria, childhood cancer has been included in the National Cancer Control Plan, which aims to strengthen pediatric oncology services, referral pathways and specialist capacity.
Nigeria has also partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to assess services across 13 institutions and identify areas for improvement. Medicaid Cancer Foundation is proud to be part of this work.
