“Today I was thrilled to make a historic announcement – World Cancer Leaders Summit 2027 will be held in Nairobi, Kenya!
The convergence of health, financial, and industry leaders on the continent will help reduce the tangential rise of cancer we are seeing! Kudos to Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and Asante to my brothers and sisters in Kenya for stepping up!”

“Just announced at AORTIC25!
Nairobi has been selected as the host city for the 2027 World Cancer Leaders’ Summit, taking place 24–28 November 2027.
Organised by UICC and hosted by the NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE OF KENYA, a UICC member, the Summit will be held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), a landmark venue in the heart of Nairobi.
The 2027 edition will provide a platform for strategic dialogue, regional collaboration and the sharing of innovative approaches to cancer control.
We look forward to the return of the Summit to Africa.”
