Yüksel Ürün Invites Young Oncologists to the ESMO Advanced Course on Early Drug Development

“Early drug development is where tomorrow’s cancer treatments begin.

I’m delighted to serve as a Co-Chair of the ESMO Advanced Course on Early Drug Development 2026, taking place in Istanbul, 23-24 November 2026, together with Jayesh Desai, Elena Garralda Cabanas, and Brigette B.Y. Ma.

This course is about more than understanding Phase I trials. It is about building the people, teams, and collaborations that can turn promising science into meaningful options for patients.

I’m particularly pleased that Istanbul will bring together colleagues from Europe, the Middle East, and beyond, creating space to learn from one another and strengthen early drug development across regions.
