Youth Cancer Europe Publishes White Paper and Toolkit on EDI in Cancer Care

Youth Cancer Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Throwback to June, when Youth Cancer Europe organised the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Cancer Care Stakeholder Forum.

The event brought together representatives from DG RTD, EU Health and Food Safety, 15 EU-funded projects, and experts from 26 European and international organisations to share their work, showcase current and upcoming EDI-related initiatives, and discuss how best to address disparities in cancer care across Europe.

The discussions made clear that advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in oncology is essential to improving outcomes, building public trust, and strengthening the resilience of health systems across Europe.

This forum marked a pivotal step towards building a more inclusive future in cancer care and ensuring that everyone, regardless of background, has access to timely, high-quality, and equitable cancer care.

Today Youth Cancer Network carries this work forward, ensuring that youth perspectives help shape inclusive, equitable cancer care across Europe.
