Young Lung Cancer Initiative shared a post on LinkedIn:
“These were grandparents, mothers, fathers, partners, children, friends, people whose laughter, love, and courage are still felt in every life they touched.
Their absence leaves a space no one can fill, and their stories need to be told and remembered.
But these people are just a few of the 1.8 million who die from lung cancer each year. We honor everyone here and all the lives lost to this disease.
While we move forward, we do not move on.
LCAM25 may be over, but the need for research, community, education, and hope continues.
Some days we hold our community a little tighter.
You are not alone ..this community is here, holding space, listening, and standing with you every step of the way.
Every story remembered keeps their light alive.
Thank you Oncogene Cancer Research and EGFR Resisters for your collaboration this month and always. Amazing things can happen when we all work together.”

Oncogene Cancer Research shared the above post, adding:
“Behind every face in this tribute was a life filled with love, plans, humour, and courage that still echoes in the people who miss them most. Their stories matter and live on in our hearts. They also remind us why we fight for better science, better answers, and better futures.
LCAM25 may have ended, but the grief, the hope, and the determination carry on. We hold space for every family who has lost someone, and we carry their light with us as we work for change. No one should have to walk this alone.
Thank you Young Lung Cancer Initiative and EGFR Resisters for collaboration. As you said and as we see every day, amazing things can happen when we work together.”
