Yoga Dwi Oktavianda: Grateful That My Abstract has been Accepted for Rapid Fire Presentation at WCC 26

Yoga Dwi Oktavianda, Radiation Oncologist at RS Premier Surabaya, Adi Husada Cancer Center and Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Grateful to share that my abstract has been accepted for an on-site Rapid Fire Presentation at the World Cancer Congress 2026, representing Indonesia.

In the midst of ongoing national economic uncertainty and the weakening Indonesian Rupiah, this acceptance brings renewed optimism and motivation to continue contributing to global oncology research from a resource-constrained setting, to improve equitable cancer care.

As the first author, I will present on one of the current controversial issues in clinical oncology:

“Comparative survival outcomes of induction chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy, concurrent chemoradiotherapy, and radiotherapy alone in locally advanced cervical cancer: a multicenter retrospective cohort study.”

Selected for:

“Clinical Breakthroughs: New Diagnostics and Therapies”

I am also honored to contribute as co-author to two accepted ePoster abstracts:

  • Real-world cervical cancer outcomes from a high-volume radiotherapy center in Indonesia
  • Geographic accessibility and treatment duration for cervical cancer management

Thank you to all mentors, colleagues, collaborators, and patients who made this work possible. Looking forward to meaningful scientific exchange at WCC 2026 in Hong Kong.”
