Yasmine Hassan, Director of Global Oncology Policy, Advocacy, and Health Equity at AstraZeneca, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Following International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia 2025, I wanted to share some of the great work delivered over the past year to represent the community voice on the need to improve information provision in resource-limited countries (RLCs).
Our poster at International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL), co-created with voices from across the global CLL community, highlights the need to improve information provision in resource-limited countries (RLCs).
In many of these settings, CLL rates are rising and death rates remain high, yet 41% of patient report not having enough information to make informed treatment decisions, making shared decision-making out of reach for many.
A huge thank you to the experts, advocates, and patients who made this work possible. It was a real pleasure working with everyone of you.
This activity has been organised and funded by AstraZeneca.
