“Promising data from TBCRC-053 (P-RAD) by Gaorav Gupta and Alice Hobnkl: short-course pre-op RT + pembro appeared to enhance tumor immune infiltration and early nodal response in node-positive TNBC.
Notably, RT converted 71% of ‘low TCI’ tumors into ‘high TCI,’ with early high TCI associated with higher ypN0 (94%) and pCR (85%) rates. Interesting strategy leveraging RT as an immune primer.”
