Awareness materials in nine languages. One shared goal: improving understanding of radiotherapy.
Students at SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai, India, came together for a multilingual World Radiotherapy Awareness Day initiative.
Held on 28 August, the event brought together students from India, Sudan, Qatar and Bangladesh to create banners and posters highlighting the vital role of radiotherapy in cancer care.
By sharing information in multiple languages, the students helped make radiotherapy awareness more accessible and inclusive, reaching beyond healthcare courses and into the wider student community.
The initiative truly reflects the spirit of One Voice for Radiotherapy: people from different countries, disciplines and communities working together to help more people understand this safe, effective and important cancer treatment.
