Opportunity to Celebrate the Quiet Champions of Ovarian Cancer in Your Community – World Ovarian Cancer Coalition

World Ovarian Cancer Coalition shared on LinkedIn:

“Impact deserves recognition. Who should we be celebrating this year?

Nominations are now open for the 6th Annual World Ovarian Cancer Coalition Impact Awards, recognising individuals and organisations whose work is helping to change the ovarian cancer landscape around the world.

Across our global community, advocates, organisations, researchers, and changemakers are translating evidence into action, influencing change and strengthening support at the grassroots level.

This year’s awards will recognise impact across three categories:

  • Evidence into Action – turning knowledge and evidence into meaningful improvements.
  • Advocacy for Change – using advocacy to influence systems, policy, and awareness.
  • Powering the Grassroots – strengthening communities and creating change where it is needed most.

If you know an individual or organisation whose work deserves recognition, we encourage you to nominate them.

Self-nominations are also welcome!

Nominations close 1 November 2026.

Help us shine a light on the work moving ovarian cancer forward globally.”

To which Julie S. Torode, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Patient and Community Engagement, Institute of Cancer Policy at King’s College London, added:

“Fantastic opportunity to celebrate the quiet champions of ovarian cancer in your community.”
