World Child Cancer shared a post on LinkedIn:
“When a child is going through cancer treatment, nutrition can play a vital role in helping them tolerate treatment and support their recovery.
In Ghana, World Child Cancer and our partners are working to strengthen nutrition support for children with cancer, helping ensure nutrition is recognised as an essential part of care.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing stories from children, parents and healthcare professionals about the difference nutrition support can make, and why access to good nutrition should be part of every child’s cancer journey.
This work was funded by the UK government through UK Aid Match and the generosity of World Child Cancer supporters.”
