Winette van der Graaf: Excited About the Collaborative Work of our PhD Students Jeffrey van Putten and Lina Lankhorst on GEN-AYA

Winette van der Graaf, President of the EORTC and Professor of Medical Oncology at The Netherlands Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am happy to share the result of a very nice and enthusiastic collaboration between two PhD students Jeffrey van Putten and Lina Lankhorst who worked as part of our KWF Kankerbestrijding sponsered project GEN-AYA Hartwig Medical Foundation The Netherlands Cancer Institute on a review regarding the specific molecular features of cancers at adolescent and young adult (AYA) age.

The review is co-authored by colleagues with expertise on the specific cancer diagnoses mentioned in the review which has further strenghtened the content. In this way, we aimed this review to be a helpful source of knowledge for clinicians and scientists active in the relatively ‘young’ field of AYA oncology. It has just been published in Cancer Treatment Reviews.”
