“Great turnout for our presentation NCODA on Cancer Care in Older Adults, with an emphasis on polypharmacy and deprescribing.
I focused my remarks on the use of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Cancer and Aging Research Group (CARG), and International Society of Geriatric Oncology Guidelines (SIOG) and the use of the Practical Geriatric Assessment (PGA) tool avoid overtreatment and undertreatment.
I wore my 4-leaf clover tie! Seemed right for being in Dublin right before St. Patty’s Day.
Appreciate the warm reception and collegiality here at NCODA, and I’m now heading to take in the culture here with my son, Xander Dale.”
