William Dale, Professor and Vice Chair for Academic Affairs at City of Hope, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Heading back from Ghent, Belgium, from a spectacular SIOG2025!
So much happening, with so much excitement, from our Plenary Presentation on Over-/Undertreatment, to the Plenary abstracts, to the breast cancer session, to the JGO Board meeting. The highlight for me was seeing my amazing partner City of Hope and our Center for Cancer & Aging Vani Katheria presenting our infrastructure build for the GOTO program. She did a magnificent job showing how we’ve taken CARG’s infrastructure from The National Institutes of Health and funding from the Rising Tide Group to create a clinical trials network for older adults with cancer. So proud of her!!
Heading out into the snow, just like when I arrived. See you all next year in Valencia!”
