Will Parsons: 2025 Seven Blocks of Granite Champion at the 52nd Annual Lombardi Award

Will Parsons, Director of the Pediatrician-Scientist Residency Training Program and Professor at the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, and Director of Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“As clinicians and scientists, our work is defined by its impact on children and families. I’m honored to share that Austin Brown, PhD, Director of the Epidemiology and Population Sciences Program at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center, and I were named 2025 Seven Blocks of Granite Champions at the 52nd annual Lombardi Award ceremony.

Learn more about the honor, which celebrates individuals who have advanced cancer research and improved the lives of cancer patients and their families

At Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center and Baylor College of Medicine, our teams are focused on clinical excellence and the collaborative, early – phase studies that move new therapies forward. Dr. Brown’s leadership in epidemiology and long – term survivor research strengthens the care we provide for children fighting cancer or serious blood disorders, and I’m proud to work alongside colleagues who bring the same purpose to every patient and every study.

Thank you to our patients, families, trainees, staff, and partners for the trust and collaboration that make progress possible.”
