“During the 2026 AACR Annual Meeting, I had the privilege of participating in an academic exchange at the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center with a visiting delegation of leading Chinese lung cancer experts led by Professor Shun Lu from Shanghai Chest Hospital. The exchange brought together colleagues from China and UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center for in-depth discussions on advances in lung cancer screening, perioperative treatment strategies, MRD-guided management, and multidisciplinary care.
I was honored to join this meeting and serve as the interpreter for the bilateral discussion, helping facilitate meaningful scientific dialogue between Chinese thoracic oncology experts and top medical oncologists at UC San Diego led by Professor Sandip Patel.
It was a valuable opportunity to engage in thoughtful exchange on shared clinical challenges and emerging translational strategies in lung cancer care. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this cross-border academic dialogue and to support continued collaboration in advancing precision oncology and global cancer care.”
