Wee Joo Chng, Yong Loo Lin Professor in Medical Oncology and Vice-President of Biomedical Sciences Research at the National University of Singapore, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last weekend, we completed the 6th Asian Myeloma Network (AMN) Masterclass. This education program aims to educate young hematologists in Asia with an interest in myeloma.
It did not stop through COVID and has been growing. This year we have more than 100 participants from across 11 countries and regions. There was an exciting quiz and great discussions of challenging cases.
In addition, we were fortunate to have Prof Mohamad Mohty from France join us and gave a inspirational speech to encourage and motivate our young doctors. It is our hope that these young doctors will carry the torch and be future leaders of myeloma in the region!”
