“Just concluded 3 days of meetings at Yokohama City University, first at the NUS-Kanagawa Cancer Symposium and then the NUS-YCU week series of activities.
It has been most fruitful with new collaborations in cancer research and also new learnings about medical education and inspiration from very motivated faculty and students.
I enjoyed very much the interactions with their medical students, who are all so enthusiastic and thoughtful about what is necessary to become a good doctor and a doctor’s role in society.
Always nice to learn from others, which is why I love so much my role in research and academia!”
