Walid Kamoun: Boston Creates An Ideal Environment To Think Forward About What Is Next In Oncology

Walid Kamoun, Vice President, Global Head of R&D Oncology at Servier, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“On my way to Boston, and genuinely excited for the week ahead.

Boston’s life sciences ecosystem combines scientific depth, innovation, and a strong sense of purpose like few places in the world. It is an ideal environment to think forward about what’s next in oncology. Every time I am back I feel like I am back home, I always forget that I lived 16 years in Boston.

I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the team, diving into the latest updates across our oncology pipeline, and exchanging ideas that could shape future projects. I’m also eager to connect with a few local startups and biotech innovators, where fresh science and bold approaches continue to redefine what’s possible for patients.

In‑person conversations are where strategy gets sharper and innovation accelerates. More reflections to come after the week.”
