“Outstanding WIN Consortium in cancer personalized medicine Data Science Committee Meeting today with discussions of the need for infrastructure to capture and analyze molecular and genomic data in training of AI platforms at scale, need to understand biology of subgroups, the need for public debate to accelerate AI use in precision oncology care, the need for high quality data, pitfalls of synthetic data and model degradation, the need for foundational models, collaboration, the need to bridge between models, data and clinical relevance, patient advocacy, along with discussions about forming a WIN patient advocacy board that will be discussed further.
Various concepts and bridging initiatives were discussed along with the upcoming Position Paper manuscript. Today’s meeting included participation by WIN Fellows in Precision Oncology.”
