Vlad Afrăsânie, President of Romanian Young Oncologists Group and Assistant Professor at Grigore T. Popa University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“As the coordinator of RYO – Romanian Young Oncologists, I am truly happy to see how the 6th edition of the Young Oncologists Congress brought together so many passionate young colleagues in Craiova.
It was an event that united us as young oncologists with the same goal: to learn, to grow, and to become better for our patients!
We had wonderful sessions dedicated to medical education across different tumor types, as well as poster and original paper sessions.
We also discussed topics that truly define oncology: the human side of our profession, the importance of subspecialization, precision medicine, clinical trials and innovation with AI.
Thank you to all our national and international participants and speakers for being with us and for everything they shared. It was inspiring to learn from each other’s perspectives and experiences!
Special thanks to all the colleagues involved in the organization, the staff of Societatea Nationala de Oncologie Medicala din Romania, the Eventer team for the impeccable organization, our mentors and our sponsors who made this event possible!
See you again next year!”
