Vivek Ghosh, Clinical Oncologist at Birat Cancer Institute, Nepal, Member of Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was a privilege to participate in the Virtual Post-ASCO Update 2026 – Nepal, a collaborative educational initiative that brought together oncologists from Nepal and Canada to discuss key advances presented at ASCO 2026 in Breast and GI Oncology.
My sincere thanks to Dr. Marya Hussain and Dr. Rajeev Sharma for their excellent moderation and for fostering a highly engaging and interactive discussion.
It was a true pleasure sharing the platform with outstanding colleagues and mentors including Dr. Saroj N., Dr. Ramila Shilpakar, and Dr. Navdeep Deher. The exchange of perspectives from different practice settings highlighted the value of global collaboration in improving cancer care.
Most importantly, thank you to all the oncologists, trainees, and healthcare professionals who joined us from across regions and contributed to the discussion. Initiatives like these remind us that meaningful progress in oncology is accelerated when knowledge is shared beyond borders.
This is only the beginning. We look forward to many more educational and collaborative sessions in the coming months. Stay tuned for updates and upcoming opportunities to learn, connect, and collaborate.”
