Virginia Delucchi Presented Poster at the ISCB46 Conference – EORTC

European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) shared a post on LinkedIn:

”We’re thrilled to share that Virginia Delucchi presented her poster at the ISCB46 Conference in Basel!

Her study, “Discontinuation and attrition rates in phase II or phase III first-line randomised clinical trials (RCTs) of solid tumours”, analysed over 500 trials and revealed that while treatment discontinuation is commonly reported, post-study treatment data is often missing, potentially leading to misinterpretation of treatment effects.

This work highlights the urgent need for better reporting practices to ensure transparency and reliability in cancer research.”
