A particularly meaningful milestone for PANTHEIA-SEOM study group. Our abstract from the PANTHEIA-SEOM Translational Study has been accepted for poster presentation at ESMO26. This work presents the first translational preliminary data from PANTHEIA-SEOM, exploring the genetic determinants of cachexia-related phenotypes in metastatic pancreatic cancer and the first steps of the PANTHEIA-SEOM gene signature.
These results reflect the strength of our ongoing collaboration with IMDEA Nutrición Institute, combining clinical oncology and translational research to advance our understanding of systemic inflammation, malnutrition and cancer cachexia in metastatic pancreatic cancer.

Grateful to all the investigators, translational researchers working within PANTHEIA IMDEA Nutrición, Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute – IDIBELL, engineers ARTIS Development | FocusedON, Raúl Guerra Hernández collaborators, and, above all, the patients who made this research possible.
I’m truly honored to lead the PANTHEIA-SEOM study group alongside the scientific committee Paula Jimenez Fonseca and Andres J. Muñoz Martin. It is amazing to see collaborative efforts translating into new scientific insights. Looking forward to sharing our findings with the oncology community at ESMO26 in Madrid!
