The FDA has approved lirafugratinib (Lyrfigtu) for previously treated advanced cholangiocarcinoma with FGFR2 fusions or rearrangements.
Our team participated in the Phase 1 development of lirafugratinib, and some of our patients had the opportunity to benefit from this treatment years before its approval.
This is one of the most rewarding parts of working in early drug development: seeing a compound move from a first-in-human trial to an approved treatment.
And knowing that, somewhere along that journey, our team – and especially our patients – helped make it possible.
