“The story of ‘cope with cancer’: Where we believe every cancer patient deserves more than treatment – they deserve support, dignity, and hope.
Cope with Cancer, a project of Madat Charitable Trust, was founded with one clear purpose: to support underserved cancer patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.
Copewithcancer or CWC work extends beyond financial assistance to holistic care, ensuring that no patient has to fight cancer alone.
The impact includes:
- Providing financial assistance for surgeries, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, ICU care, diagnostics, PICC lines, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) for economically challenged patients.
- Partnering with Tata Memorial Hospital, ACTREC, HBCH Varanasi, HBCH Vizag, and numerous leading hospitals across India to make quality cancer treatment more accessible.
- Running one of India’s longest-standing Hair & Wig Donation Programs since 2013. Thousands of hair donors have come together to spread hope, enabling 40 wigs per month to reach women undergoing chemotherapy across the country. This wigs are provided free of cost and are couriered by the team to the patients directly wherever they stay
- Supporting affordable breast cancer diagnosis , surgery and treatment through their “HOPE 60
Health Outreach Program for Early Intervention “ helping women access surgery at subsidized costs. - Offering online and telephonic counseling for patients and caregivers, providing emotional, psychosocial, and practical support through every stage of treatment.
- Promoting healing through Music Therapy in collaboration with the Shankar Mahadevan Academy, creating moments of joy, resilience, and positivity for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
At Cope with Cancer, the team believe that compassion is as important as medicine. Every contribution – whether financial support, a hair donation, volunteering, or simply spreading awareness – helps bring hope to someone fighting cancer.
Together at CWC we ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
