“As an RTT, I am thrilled to witness the first-ever Day of Radiotherapy Awareness. Let this day serve as a reminder of the greatest hope in cancer treatment and the barriers that still remain.
The biggest barrier is accessibility. What we truly need are breakthroughs in infrastructure, cost reduction, scalable and affordable treatment centers, better training for medical professionals worldwide, and global healthcare policies that make these life-saving therapies available to everyone. True success in oncology isn’t just about innovation, it’s about ensuring that innovation reaches every patient in need.
Because access to radiotherapy is essential, not optional, and not a luxury for a few.”
