Union for International Cancer Control shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Overnight, my life was turned upside down.
My name is Juliette. At 41, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I quickly realised that when you are young, a woman, and from a diverse background, whether of North African or African descent, medical care often comes too late.
Since then, I have been committed to shedding light on this reality. I created an association called Baob Brussels. We provide support, raise awareness, share information, and most importantly, stand by those going through the illness.
Cancer is a serious disease, and no one should have to go through it alone.”
Take part in the Upside Down Challenge.”
